When I ordered this unscented item, I had no expectations. However, after using it for a couple of weeks, I noticed that my skin is smoother, the pores are barely noticeable, and the skin tone is pinkish. I highly recommend this product because it is effective and the price point is affordable.

I have ordered this bakuchiol retinol alternative serum several times. It is a good product. However, this time the color is more of a brown color than the other times I have purchased it. In the past it has been clear with a rather violet tinge. I'm going to keep it and hope for the best. I'll update the review if I have problems. I took off one star only for the difference in color. My past experience has been that it is a serum with the benefits of retinol without the irritation for us "sensitive types".

Lightweight and truly moisturizing. This product made me feel comfortable and hydrated.I was given this product hy Asterwood to sample, and I love it. My opinion is my own.

I’ve bought this 3 times but this last time the consistency wasn’t at all the same it was just water, no smell, no flavor. The first 2 times it worked great.

I'm 44 and recently tried to use a retinol product. It was great for the first week but then I noticed I was starting to get a little itchy around my jaw line and then my entire face felt rough. I read that it can happen because of speedy cell turnover but mine didn't go away. I started looking into alternatives and stumbled upon Bakuchiol. Loved the fact that it was a natural alternative which is right up my alley. I've only been using it for a week now but after a couple days of using it the roughness has gone away! I do not feel the need to wear a moisturizer over it, my face feels dewey soft all day!

**Update - Asterwood reached out and sent me a new bottle of Bakuchiol Serum. The new bottle had no funky odor or color.I ordered their Bakuchiol Serum 10/2023, at the time I believe it was a newer product for them. When it arrived, it had an amber color to it which did not look like the photos in the ad and also had a slightly rancid odor. I had never used Bakuchiol Serum before, so I tried it a couple of times but couldn't get past the "off" smell and tossed it. 12/2023, I sent an order to my daughter which included the Bakuchiol serum. Her serum looked like the photos, clear with a slight purplish hue and had no odor. My serum from 10/2023 was tainted or had gone rancid, so beware of discolored products that smell bad.

Sticky and smells god awful! Sending it back for a replacement. Hoping that I just got an old product. Never had a problem with this company before.
