Delicious!!

I tried this Truvani bar in the Chocolate Chip Banana Bread. It was delicious. It is soft and has some nice melty chocolate bits. Oh, it was like a little dessert like treat. These are gluten and dairy free as well as vegan if that matters to you. They are also made with healthy, organic ingredients. If only they were not so expensive, I would get these all of the time. Much more economical to purchase a twelve pack vs the single bars.

This does certainly taste a bit like banana bread, with maybe a little chocolate... but there's also an odd taste to it. I normally associate that flavor with flax, but there's no flax in this, so I'm not entirely sure what's causing it. Maybe that's just the intersection of chocolate, bananas, and dates.Every Only Bar I've tried has had a different texture, and I would describe this one as chewy, but kinda gritty. The almonds also make it a bit oilier than you might expect, so I'd recommend not removing it from the wrapper, especially if you're not going to have a chance to wash your hands before you next use your phone.

So soft and yummy!

I originally thought this was a protein bar, totally mistaken! It’s just a regular snack bar. But man, is it tasty. It’s got simple ingredients and yet it tastes pretty much just like the flavor it’s advertising. It’s moist, the chocolate was soft and not dry or crumbly. I usually am NOT one for snack bars, granola bars, or protein bars, but this has me wanting to go and buy more of these, and other flavors to try. The banana flavor wasn’t overpowering and it tasted like the real banana fruit we know today, and not the artificial no-longer-exists banana flavor found in most banana flavored foods and sweets. It’s not too sweet, just sweet enough to feel like a little treat in my day. I highly recommend these bars.

This snack bar is sooooo gooooooooooood. It tasted like I was eating a dessert in bar form!!! My gosh I am craving more, and I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing!!! (Probably a good thing!!!) It was a bit crumbly in the package but let me tell you, that rich chocolate flavor sticks with you to the last crumb!!!!! Absolutely a pantry must have for the flavor and ingredients alone!!!!!

I tried this plant based bar and it had great texture, it was soft and chewy and a little bit moist. It also had good flavor and chocolate chips inside. The flavor was sweet but not too sweet as well. My only complaint is that the banana flavor tasted much like an old browning banana, which was offputting and left a bit of an aftertaste. This is also a bit pricey (currently standing at $2.69 for a single bar).
