just wow
Devouring desire is a past time of demons and humans alike. When someone or something causes you to stop loving, they take away part of your life. This story at first seems childlike but it matures along with your understanding of its themes, which unravel, labyrinth like, as you follow these full, wonderfully realized characters, through their own developments. Rarely does one come across a story so timeless and ageless that the young and old will find not just something, but many things here. Delicious things await, enter the dungeon....

A fun series that reveals bigger lessons
This Manga starts out innocent and fun. In the end it reveals larger truths about real life that open your eyes. Must read

Reads back-to-front and right-to-left
Translated from the original Japanese text! But the Japanese layout was left intact. I got impatient to wait for Netflix to catch up to the story! So I bought this last chapter to see how it all ends. In retrospect, I should have purchased the last two Volumes!

Best Manga title I have ever read
I am floored by the craftmanship of Ryoko Kui. Her art style, character development, world building, story telling and tone setting demonstrates her immense love and passion for this series. No character feels as though they are there to serve some trite purpose or to move along the plot. Rather, each individual member of the story moves simultaneously with their own motivations and the story is seeing how they conflict/ are reconciled.I'm no writer or artist, but in the journey of experiencing this artistry, I've seen the beauty of creating a world and inviting others into it. Thank you Kui-san for creating a beautiful world, and if you plan to continue expanding the story, I will be there to devour it.

You owe it to yourself to read Dungeon Meshi
If for some reason you’re still waffling on reading the series after watching season 1, don’t wait. It’s so worth the physical copy. If Yen Press or another publisher puts out a hardcover set or nice collection, I will be there.

Satiating end to a fantastic fantasy manga
Having binge read the volumes of this manga after enjoying the anime adaptation, I can say I highly recommend this series. I cannot wait to read more from Ryoko Kui!
