Q: Does it have a very strong throw

I’m not sure what “throw” means but if you mean does the smell fill your house. The answer is most definitely yes. This is the best candle I have ever owned. The smell is delicious, strong and you can smell it throughout the entire house not long after lighting It. And the price here is excellent.

Q: Does the 26 oz candle burn to the bottom of the jar? Mine has stopped halfway down the jar and I am wondering if this is normal.

That is not normal. I use this brand of candle and every time they have burnt to the bottom.

Q: A lot of reviews saying the jar dirtys/blackens up faster than others... Any way to avoid that?

The best way to avoid blacking in any candle is to trim the wick to 1/8"-1/4" before each lighting. Hope this helps!

I have access to smelling many of these particular candles. There are all kinds. It is the most popular of all of them. All fragrances containing the maple ingredient seems to provide one of the strongest long lasting smells. If you like a sweet smell it is absolutely great and lingering. Always receive compliments. Cannot attest to whether or not it is a true maple smell. They linger longer than any candles I ever used. I buy no others. Love It!!

The smell of home

I used to always have one of these candles in my house until I moved and I found I craved the smell it reminds me of home. I was so pleased when it arrived. It took me right back. The smell radiated throughout the house, and it smells so amazing. These candles last forever and I am so glad to have one again.

Best Candle Hands Down

This is my absolute favorite candle and scent! It will have your whole house smelling amazing. The burn time is great too. I personally like Candleberry better than Yankee. I like this one so much that I ended up buying as gifts for family and friends.

Perfect sent wonderfully long burning candle

This scent is fantastic. I couldn’t find it in any of my local stores and was very thankful to find it on Amazon. It’s my favorite cozy scent for my home for winter or early spring. The candle has a very long burned time and it’s highly scented so one candle makes my living room, dining room and den smell wonderful!

KILLED OUR PARROTS!!!

We think the petroleum smelling fumes from this candle killed our two parrots :( First of all you have to stand right over it to smell anything, and it’s like a chemical smell. I was going to buy the cookie jar sized candle but I would NEVER buy another of these again!! Our poor parrots!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!
