It’s a swing and a miss.
Expensive, inaccurate and poorly finished. The nail starter magnet - well it wasn’t there. There was a cast hole for it but no magnet. The “hammer” face is terribly out of alignment th the rest of the body. It almost has a 20 degree angle to it.So I suppose handy for nailing round corners. And the fact it has a square! I well i wasn’t expecting much and I wasn’t disappointed. I would say that it’s about as far from a useful feature as could possibly be expected. The casting lines are sharp and the nail pullers well…. also don’t they grip poorly and have a tendency to dent the material extracting the nail from. Yes you can mitigate by using sacrificial scraps. Blah blah. But I haven’t got time for that. My O.G paw is much more gently on pulled surface.I have also found that the casting over pour means the “socket” size is out. This is the saw “spanner” built into the lower puller. To use I would have to file out the casting flash. Which is tough given the material -So in all. Apart from the above. 2 small positive- It is light in comparison to my Japanese paw. So I suppose that’s a thing. And the material is hard…. ?
