Q: How much height adjustment is there?

It adjusts 13.5"-18" to the top of the pedestal.

Q: Does the whole post swivel 360 or just the hard plastic? I have a very similar mechanism and it does not swivel well at all.

When you loosen it to swivel 360 it wabbles!

Q: Is this a set of 2 or just 1? Hard to tell by the wording.

It’s per mount. You get 1 mount, 1 pedestal , and 1 slide. And, I had no issues with he install. Works well

Q: What is the deck mounting bolt pattern diameter/spacing?

Standard 8” 6 bolt pattern. Very easy to replace. Just turn the bolts out, replace with new base and tighten it down, if that was the original pattern. Simple replace.

Al though kept on lowest 13" setting, when sitting on chair just felt like move side to side. Didn't quite feel that on my last pedestal though was only 8" and had swivel and forward/back sider. But mainly bought this for height.

Wobbly

Do not buy unless you want your seat to wobble, bought them thinking they would be able to tighten down after you adjust the hight but there’s nothing and the higher you go the worse it gets. Do not recommend
