I bought this for my Lefoto tilting head so I could pan with it on my monopod. It apears well made compact and does the trick.

As mentioned by another reviewer the item is marked ` HIGHLIGHTS `, same factory I suppose? The 4 stars are there because on opening the box I found a bit of seepage from between the two moving plates, it wiped off ok, but trouble may be in the future. The lettering and markers are not the best and clearest i`ve seen but will do. At the moment it works great, smooth and holds the position set with my heavy camera on top.

It’s nicely machined and turns very smoothly when unlocked, almost fluid head like. I suspect some grease or something inside. Locks solidly with no play, and no play even if left free to rotate.Comes with a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter bush too.

This has the potential of being a very good product, but two things let it down. Excessive white and sticky lubricant applied and the two hex head tightening screws on the underside are slightly larger than the hex tool supplied which has resulted in rounding off of the edges when tightening.On the positive, I primarily purchased this to add to my Gimbal so that I can use this along with an angle mount on my camera and this works fine (as long as I set the Gimbal to the highest level).

This is a smaller version (47mm diameter) of the standard (70 to 80mm Dia.) Arca-Swiss compatible panoramic rotating clamp. It appears to be intended to be used with the miniature (pocket sized/table-top) tripods that are currently very popular.Note that this is not a ball-head, as one of the reviews suggests. This is intended to fit into an existing Arca-style clamp that is already mounted on top of a small ball-head. This is achieved by mounting the supplied Arca plate to the bottom of the mini-rotating clamp and then clamping this assembly into the Arca-style clamp that came with the ball-head.So why would you need to do this when most ball-heads come with a rotating facility? To use the ball-head's rotation to shoot a panorama you first have to level the tripod. This is done by adjusting the legs... but some miniature tripods do not have adjustable legs and even if they do it can still be rather tricky to level it.With this mini rotator clamped into your ball-head's Arca-style clamp you can use the ball-head just to level things and then use this mini-rotator to shoot the panorama...it is a lot faster this way.If you shoot panoramas a lot you can also permanently replace the clamp on your ball-head with this mini-rotator. The unit is very well made and finished and rotates smoothly.

The product is made to high quality. And is easy to use. Looks good..

The pan head is as described and works well. It is compact and lightweight, mine was slightly hard to turn, so I wouldn't use it for do panning in a video - maybe it is possible to improve by adding grease. I use it for fixed angles so I don't mind, it was important that it is small and firm, which seems to be the case.
