Q: Some reviews say that these are not an Adidas product. Are they genuine Adidas brand push up bars?

Not bothered. Branded adidas, they were very cheap and are solid enough to do pushups on.

Q: will these slip on a carpeted surface?

Wow, it shows that I purchased these back in 2013, so it's been 10 years now. To answer your question, no, they don't really slip and are very sturdy and very useful, love those and have been using these pushup bars quite often, they're holding great. I'm not sure though the model could've changed over the years, but mine are still good to go. Also, looking at my order, the price I paid for these was just £7, so maybe if you shop around you could find a better deal to what they're listed for here. Or get a similar model from a different brand, i just checked and there're some others here on Amazon. Enjoy!
