Q: Looks like leather on the zip/strap anchor points but says 100% canvas. Is ther some leather on the bag?

Yes the strap, Zip toggles and zip anchor points at made of leather, and it looks like real leather and not synthetic.

Q: Does it have a water bottle holder

Not a specific bottle holder on the outside, but under the flap there are 2 deep pockets that could act as bottle holders, I usually put a bottle of fruit juice in the main storage area and just lift the flap. I make sure that it doesn't fall over, but there again I don't know what size bottle you are intending to hold. Mine are usually small Coke bottles, but under the flap one of these bottles can be held quite comfortably.

Q: People are saying they cant fit A4 paper in this bag. Is it really that small??

I have been able to insert an A4 pad into my bag with no problem, however, I think trying to place an A4 file holder and contents may be more difficult, especially if you have more bulky items in there too. I like my bag and carry an A4 pad, iPad and other odds and ends quite happily, plenty of pockets too.

Q: Can a flask fit in it

Yes, a large 1 litre flask could fit in. However, you would have limited space for other things.
