I must say I was out off by the price of this comb as it is pricey. But not it is the only comb my toddler and I use on our hair. It is gentle and my hair health has improved.It is better to have one good quality comb than lots of cheap ones that snag and damage your hair. Worth the money as you will not need to keep buying combsMy daughter and I have natural Type 4 a/b hair if that helps anyone!

My second Hercules Sagemann comb. Bought the first one over 10 years ago, washes well with good wear and tear and absolutely seamless. Always worth the money.

I have relaxed hair and this catches everything when I have re-growth, easy to glide through hair, great strangle with very little effect. I bought two the big and the mini! I use no use comb on my hair and there is hardly any hair shedding. Major Majour staple in my hair care routine.

Love this comb. It is pricey but totally worth it. Detangling is so much easier and faster . I love the way it glides through my hair nicely. It's good quality and sturdy.

Well this is just the best detangling comb that I have ever had for afro textured hair. It goes into the roots easily and detangles softly without creating breackage. I'm so so pleased. But I can't give 5 stars because of the price: Even if it is a good comb, the price is still toomuch: nothing, nothing justify that: the material is just regular plastic found in any other comb so... I don't get it

Love this comb. Indestructible. Will not shear off your hair or scratch your scalp. Feels solid in your hand and applies even pressure to strands. Seamless. Not a £1 comb . This comb will be valued by those with very very curly hair and those who view brushes with distaste..

I was skeptical about purchasing this initially. I already have a ton of wide tooth combs that just weren't cutting it. My hair is thick and shoulder length and i at this time was about 4-5 months post relaxer. This comb detangles perfectly without gnawing your roots or strands. Even when the hair is straight out of wash and un moisturized. I love this comb and may be getting the entire range of the product

I have been looking for something like that for a while. It's doesn't catch and pull on my hair, and I see A LOT less hair once I've detangled with the Magic Star 9 than when I use any other wide tooth comb or my modified denman brush. It's really good tool and I definitely recommend it, especially for curly/coily hair.
