Mixed results
This product is easy to use and it was reasonable value, however results were mixed, but perhaps my prep was poor

Takes longer than advertised, but works!
For years I have had issues with bare patches on the lawn. I reseed every year with very little improvement. My neighbour recommended the Patch Magic and so far I'm really impressed. The growth does take longer than what is stated on the pack, but it really does work. I will definitely be using this product in the future

No Magic here
No Magic here in 4 days, just standard 14 days for these grass seeds to be visible, no better than any other grass seeds.

Very effective - but kind of pricey for what it is
I had two problem areas on my 1 year old lawn; one, an area around one edge where the soil had baked in a recent (and big!) heatwave, killing all the grass in a roughly 4ft square area - and a couple of dinner plate sized patches where a fox had kindly peed on the lawn - murdering the grass and making the place smell of fust (ahhh, nature).I didnt really know what the best product to go for was, but as this was kind of an "all in 1" I thought Id start with this; and I have to say Im really happy with it; the grass was sprouting within 3 days, the patches "filled" in 2 weeks (though the grass was still very tender and could easily be pulled out with no resistance for up to 4 weeks. (I tried going over a very small area when mowing the lawn - it just tore the new patch right out the ground and I had to re-retreat it!)8 weeks later though, its as though there was never any damage. The only thing that makes it stand out as being "repaired", is that in the two treated areas, the grass is a significantly lighter green and the blades are notably thicker (though my guess is that the seed used in this is a different grass species to my original turf - and that over time, as the lawn continues to mature and seed itself, this will blend out a bit so will be less striking). Personally Im not THAT bothered by this - it looks a damn sight better than the dead brown! but in hindsight, I would maybe have tried to scatter some of this into the healthy lawn too, so the new and old grasses blended less obviously. Meh. Point is, might just be worth checking your grass species if this sort of thing is likely to wind you up!My ONE tiny grumble is that for the cost, you dont get a huge amount, but then you are supposed to use this as a patch treatment - not a full lawn cover; its just that if you have a large lawn or several patches to treat it could turn out quite costly. That being said, for small patches I would 100% recommend it, and I wouldnt hesitate to buy it again if another fox incident occurs!

Nothing grew
Did absolutely nothing. No grass grew despite following instructions. Tried to get a refund but you can't without returning the original item, which of course I used and threw away the packaging. Avoid.

I genuinely think this would grow on concrete
Since the dawn of civilisation man’s lust for monoculture has driven him mad and I are someone who has not been blessed with the gift of green fingertips apart from I admit around the devils lettuce the desire to grow a lush and green lawn on totally and utterly unsuitable soil is something that has driven me to the brink of insanity over the last couple of years in a final fit of lawn care desperation where I had tried everything. I thought I would just see if I could get a small bit of grass established and this was that grass that finally got there it is hilariously easy to use and my recommendation is if you can’t get this to grow give up Astroturf was made for you my friend there is no shame in quitting.

Reasonable result.
A bit pricey, but our new home had a lawn badly affected by dog urine. Having scarified the lawn, there wasn’t much grass left. Used this product (3 containers needed), covered thinly with compost and watered well every day. Grass germinated in about 5 days and grew strongly. Some of the worst areas had to be retreated. Overall very pleased with the result.
