Q: How long is the rope?

Not long enough. I’m 6’1 and 200lbs. After attaching it to my harness and letting the rope all the way out, I was too close to a 12” diameter tree to be able to raise my leg to climb the first step. I only had about 6” between the tree and myself.

Q: How long is this rope? It has 4.5 stars but almost every review say it’s 4’. 4’ would be completely useless.

I would say 4' is right. Works fine on smaller trees that I climb.

Q: Can you use a rope man 1 on this rope?

Your not supposed to. Rope man 1 is supposed to be for 10mm and above. This rope is 8mm I believe. I have the Kong Duck which is rated to 6mm I believe. Works great.
