My 9 year old and 13 year old both used it with no issues. They didn't love the smell, but you can't smell any strong smells when your hair is dry. I like the smell, but i think the ginger throws them for a loop. Not used to the smell of ginger.

I like its smell, smells like ginger. and I like how it feels, it's not like others' smooth feeling, feels kinda rough, but right for my hair.

Q: is this legit body shop product?

No. As of 2020, the ingredients are NOT the same as The Body Shop. Additionally, the label is lower quality. It does not work as well as the original. I tried to write a review warning about it but Amazon won't approve it. Please be weary!!!
