Does the job
I like the variety and they do the job. Cheaply made, thin, easy to break

They are METAL
I thought by the images that they were plastic. But these are very thin metal and I was able to tear small strips for miniature journal pages. The edges are very refined and sharp enough to do some perfect tearing, but not so sharp you would cut yourself. They are very light but easy to work with. I was concerned that because of how light they were that they wouldn't stay in place but they are super easy to work with and did not slide around when applying minimal pressure.

Not As Advertised
The product description is flat-out wrong. In my opinion it's deceptive, and here's why:1. These are NOT made out of high carbon steel as claimed in the product description. The deckle rulers are flimsy, easily bendable to a 60-70 degree angle. There's a cheap plastic coating on them - at first I thought they *were plastic. When I got them out of the wrapper, it appears that they're made of aluminum, or some soft metal.2. There are numbers printed on the rulers. They scale runs from right to left, rather than left to right. Not a good feature if trying to sell a tool. Also, the numbers are backwards and upside down. It's not a ruler if the numbers are wrong and if they don't refer to any standard measure. Why even include the numbers if they're not going to be accurate?3. I tried using one to tear some regular copy paper. The short length (8.25", not 8.4" as advertised) and narrow width makes it very difficult to hold the ruler firmly enough so that the edge will tear paper to create a deckle. This is the MAIN REASON I bought the product, and it's essentially unusable. My advice - walk on by and find a tool that will actually do the job.

light and flimsy
Not that impressed. It works, but they are very flimsy and you have to use a lot of pressure to keep everything in place. Think I will purchase the acrylic ones instead.
