Easy to program to car itself upon cutting the key. Comes with battery. Functions as original at fraction of cost + no bimmer logo.

Can not program
I tried to program this key using the Xtool 7D, but it would not work. The device reported that the key is defective with error code 256. I followed all the correct steps, but no success. Very frustrating experience.

Save the $300 from the dealership
Don’t spend $300 at the dealer. Bought this key because my old fob batteries were not charging enough while driving. Had a local bmw shop program the key. Took under 5 minutes and works perfect.
