Minilmist perfection for this knife-ahoholic.
There isn't anything about this knife that I could nitpick. Everything about the quality materials, workmanship and quality control is really impeccable. The packaging besides being very well protected is very tastefully designed with a die- cut P.F. sleeve and includes; extra screws, washers, micro fiber cloth and colorful sticker. The spare washers are for those who's knife may be more often exposed to dusty conditions whereas ceramic bearings could clog up more quickly.I really like the Gmascus scales paired with the black blade, quite striking yet subtle. The 14C28N steel is a nice upgrade from the "Daddy Beluga".Deployment is very good equally with the flipper or the fuller on both sides of the blade, which is the method I prefer. The drop is satisfying and doesn't slam shut. The bearings perform very smoothlyBesides a great price point and liking the quirky "Petrified Fish" branding I find this to be a really fun knife for my EDC.I highly recommend, bite the bullet and join the fun!

Beautiful EDC Fuller & Front Flipper Deployment
The media could not be loaded. I can see why this Petrified Fish model is so popular. It's the perfect size for a compact but comfortable full ergonomic grip.Overall fit and finish feels premium. The action feels properly tuned out of the box with crisp blade deployment. Detent feels good and had no problem with the front flipper and surprisingly well designed for reverse fuller flick. The green patterned G10 scales are slightly rounded with light texturing providing solid handling.Liner lock up strong with no blade play and easy to close.Knife came plenty sharp with the wide blade tapering to a thin slicey edge.Added extras in the package was nice to see. Came with extra frame screws, pivot washers, microfiber cloth, and sticker.

Awesome budget EDC knife
This folder is really great quality for the price. The blade is good steel, the lockup of the liner lock is strong, the detent is on the stiffer side (i like it like that) and the action is great. I only took off one star because the front flipper tab is so small that it's really painful and difficult to use, especially if you have smaller hands like me. I think if you slightly loosen the pivot screw it might make it easier but I like how it is for safety. However, the fuller on the blade makes doing a 'spidey flick' - using your middle/other/multiple fingers on the back side in the groove to flick it open like you're flicking water off your fingers - super easy and satisfying. You can also use it to open slowly with your thumb. Otherwise, I have 100% confidence this knife will never open up in my pocket, and the clip is solid. Also, the gmascus is beautiful and feels great. It's both grippy and smooth all at once. Great knife so far!

Love these knives
Have 4 Petrified Fish knives now and I have been impressed with every last one. Fit and finish on par with knives 4-5x the price. Arrive sharp, zero play on lockup, and silky smooth action with great detent. They will not disappoint.

Budget EDC Hall of Fame material!
The media could not be loaded. I picked up a couple Petrified Fish Knives with their recent discount coupon and I have to say I'm really impressed with these guys. These are the sorts of knives I'm always telling people to look into when I say "the Chinese knife game is strong." Excellent fit and finish, decent steel, smooth action, spectacular value for your money. While companies like Kizer and Civivi have mostly left the $30-60 price point, PF is holding this territory steady. My Beluga is perfectly centered and flies open with the forefinger flick. I haven't played with it for more than a couple days but I suspect the thumb opening will get better over time. It, and the front flipper are still a bit stiff. Fits my XS/SM hand just fine. Not a lot of billboarding on the blade itself except for one really (really) badly done logo. Aside from that, my only other negative comment is that it's a bit on the heavy side and takes up precious pocket real estate (but then again, women's clothing generally has a paucity of storage).Pictured with another budget hall-of-famer, the Civivi Elementum, for reference.
