Q: Does it have port covers? or is the charging port cut out for access? (otter box defender has a piece to close the port to protect from e.g. saw dust)

It does not have the port covers. It is just the cut outs for access

Q: Will this fit my s20 5g? what is the fe?

This case will not fit the samsung galaxy s20 5g...I'm sure they have one that will but this specific case is for the galaxy s20 fan addition

Q: Is there any plans to add other colors? Rust or ICE would be nice. Black cases are so boring.

No one except UAG knows that. That may come out with a different line of cases but the pathfinder is generally just black from past experience.

Q: Is case slick or gripie?

It is a hard case so a bit slick but I am able to use a pop socket that sticks no problem
