Q: would these work on a cement basement floor to provide padding/safety under swings that are hanging from floor joists? Kids love swinging indoors.

I think this would be a good option. The padding is firm but it does give. I would make sure you get thick ones. At least 3/4” maybe 1” thick. Maybe start with a few pieces before ordering a whole floors worth.

This would not be the right solution for HIIT workouts. It is not heavy duty enough for that type of activity and movements, and I think the tiles would move and separate.
