Q: Can this sensor be used with the Victron SmartShunt ?

Yes. All battery monitor solutions require a shunt. But, this does work with the smartshunt.

Q: I have lost my connection wire from my victron smartshunt 500A. Will this device serve as a connection from my smart shunt to my sok battery?

Yes, this can replace the power wire and then you will also be able have temperature sensing with your smartshunt.

Q: Can victron smart controller, bmv-712 and this temp sensor do auto low temp charge prevent of lipo battery? some say yes, some say no, i confused!

You could, with an external relay controlled by the 712 relay, based on temperature. The Multiplus II newest firmware upgrade will stop charging on low temp setpoint as well. But you would need a very large relay to control charging current, but it could be done. I use my relay to control battery heaters to keep my lithium batts warm in cold weather. Which may be a better application. Go to Victron's knowledgebase and search around. there is a lot of info on their site.
