Q: I plan to put a silicone lid on the carafe so it needs to be flat to form a seal. Is the top of carafe, including the spout, completely flat?

These are hand blown, so might not be perfectly flat

Q: What is the diameter of the jug at the rim please? I am looking for a carafe i can use with Aeropress XL (about 95 mm diameter at filter end). Thanks

The Aeropress XL comes with a Caraf. However from inner edge to inner edge across is 8cm (approx) 3 inches

Yes it will, I have both the Clever Dripper and this and it works a treat

Q: Is the Mighty Small Carafe durable enough to be used with aeropress?

We do not recommend using any glassware with the aeropress as the pressure may cause the glassware to crack.
