Hi Betty. No they will not. The first number usually means the type of yarn. Such as Heartland, Hometown, Vannas. The second set represents the dye color. So ex: (136-113) 136 is Heartland and 113 color is Redwood. (136-158) 136 is Heartland and 158 is Yellow Stone. Does that answer your question?

Q: How does it work for sweaters? -- i mean, how does it look after a few weeks of wearing it? (i have used wool-ease, but it pills a lot).

This yarn will stretch after washing and drying so it is imperative that you knit or crochet a sample and steam block it to make sure you’re using the right gauge. The effect after blocking is MARVELOUS — the yarn will have a nice drape and will look incredible for hats, sweaters or shawls. Steam blocking is the way to go so you guarantee the shape. This yarn will produce a warm piece to help you face any cold blustery winter. Don’t iron it! Steam blocking is done by hovering the iron over the piece and letting it dry on the mat secured with wires and pins.
