Medium coverage, looks great on mature skin, not drying and looks really natural

I have medium cool-neutral skin. I just received my 3rd shade, and have to conclude that there just isn’t a match for me. I hate to say it because the formula is amazing. It goes on wet but dries down with no tackiness, and has a smooth finish. 260 is too dark for foundation, but makes a fabulous cream bronzer. It is a yellow-toned brown. 245 is too light for foundation and more ‘beige’ than ‘warm’, but makes a great under-eye concealer. I bought 255 thinking it would be the one, but it turns out both the undertone and depth of color are wrong. 255 is A LOT lighter than 260, and is peachy. I can’t use it for anything. Hopefully I can find a similar product with a better range of shades.UPDATE:After seeing 240 Natural Beige in person, I noticed it has a peachier tone than 245 (my “concealer”), so I bought it to see if the peach would better cancel out my under eye darkness. Now I’m just confused at the shade range. 240 is closer to my color than any of the shades I’ve tried. I figured the smaller the number, the lighter the shade…but 255 Soft Honey was far too light for my face, while 240 is a pretty good match for foundation. I would highly recommend looking at these in person, because not one of these shades has been what I expected based on photos OR user demonstrations.

This base makeup covers well and hides any imperfections without feeling heavy. It doesn't cake or flake. If you happen to fall asleep with it on, it'll still be there when you wake up. It feels soft not sticky, not greasy. Besides getting compliments on my skin, it absolutely keeps my face from burning in the sun! My sis in law makes fun of me for wearing makeup to the pool but it protects my skin! I like the applicator sponge that's included but I can also use my finger to apply it. Don't ever stop making this base! It's my all-time favorite!

Tried it on a whim, absolutely love it. I've been using Estee Lauder for years, and they kept discontinuing my lightweight foundation. This stuff is awesome. Light enough to use every day. The moisturizer is not greasy. Easy to apply with a separate makeup sponge or the one that comes with it. Definitely worth the money. COVERGIRL please don't discontinue on me!!

This cream version is about the same as Advanced Radiance in a pump bottle. Have been using both for years. As long as you start with a good moisturizer both go on smooth and have good coverage. Using an applicator to apply is completely optional. I’ve tried brushes and sponges but honestly, applying it like you would a moisturizer works and all you need to do is wash your hands, not the applicators.
