Q: Did anyone get a waffle maker that will stay open and not lay flat?

Ours does not stay open like the pic. It lies flat when open. Doesn't appear to be made to stand up like that when open.

The knob you see at the base moves, but its quite tight. All other pieces ar3 just to assemble and disassemble.
