They are manufactured in Canada

Q: Why make a product that is better for the environment and then package it in plastic?

The amount of plastic package is minuscule compared to the plastic gallon jugs I used to buy. Think of the gallons of gasoline saved by not shipping gallons of soap!!

Q: Is there a plastic free laundry detergent strip open in Amazon? This is the closest but it still has plastic.

Tru Earth is 100% plastic free. The package is a compostable cardboard sleeve.
