Gets the Job Done
As a beginner with both the Alto and Tenor, I find these reeds get the job done. I rated them with poor durability, because I go through them fast in the learning process. An artificial reed might last longer, but the Rico reed is significantly less expensive, and combined with the Yamaha mouthpiece is excellent for someone early in the learning process. I find as I get better, the reeds tend to last longer too.

Only brand I use is Rico
I have used Rico reeds forever. From the time I first learn to play 🎷 in my early years in school to present and they are always my preference. I have tried other brands and I always come back to Rico reeds. They just perform for me and I am confident to use them. I have played tenor sax for over 35 years and they just work for me. I use the bottom lip manuver on my mouth piece not the teeth method of biting down on my sax mouth piece that they teaching the new generation so maybe Rico reeds seem to work with my style. Either way they a win for me.

good reeds
Good set, even and consistent from reed to reed so far from what I can tell, much easier to use than the 3's I had before and they don't bottom out so easily like the 1.5's I also had. I think I found my go-to reed for awhile. Now I just need to practice.

Convenient
As a beginning saxophonist, it was recommended by my teacher to get a name brand reed versus the ones that came with my new saxophone. The Ricos had good ratings and recommendations so I bought them. They work well with both the mouthpiece that came with the saxophone and the Rico B7 I purchased a few months ago. Too early to tell if I will be a cane reed-user or a synthetic reed-user, like the ones produced by Legere? So far so good with the Ricos.

Great Price, Medium Quality
I would recommend these reeds to beginners and intermediate Tenor Saxophone players. Rico is an established brand that has had very high customer satisfaction ratings over the years. Each reed comes in a convenient case that has an opening from the long side rather than from the short side. This is helps prevent reeds getting stuck in the cases and protects them just as well. The reeds can last long periods of time without breaking. However, they tend to become dirty far quicker than other reeds I have purchased. Thus, replacement has to occur relatively often.Nevertheless, compared to what competitors charge, this is an excellent purchase for most Tenor Sax players.

I ordered these in error for an alto saxophone.
I ordered these in error for an alto saxophone. I installed one of the reeds on a Yamaha 4C alto saxophone mouthpiece. Although it worked, I do not recommend their use on the alto saxophone; I ordered alto reeds for my alto sax.

Great purchase!
Ricos is a great brand and has nothing but good ratings and recommendations from my daughter teacher. From what my daughter tells me, it is a better quality reed compared to the reeds that comes with the instrument and it's for a great price!

Great for rock, blues, and funk.
In high school, we were constantly told to use harder and harder reeds, and I ended up on Hemke 4.5s and 5s. Now that my main music is Rock, Blues, and Funk, using metal mouthpieces with super soft reeds are way more enjoyable (though require a lot of practice to control.) Rico 2.0 and 1.5 are a great way to go.

Rico 2 ½ Grade Tenor Reeds.
I got these to test out a new mouthpiece as the tip opening is a little wider than my old one and I wanted to see if a change to a softer reed was in order - I usually use grade 3s.Unless otherwise stated, Rico reeds are generally what I understand to be "American cut" ie. intended for use with American made mouthpieces which have a slightly longer lay and gentler curve towards the tip-opening; the reeds are therefore cut to have a stiffer heart to them. Whether this makes any difference or not (and plenty of players happily swap French cut and American cut reeds regardless of what type of mouthpiece they have) I usually choose Ricos for all my saxes because I'm used to them - I'll use Vandorens as a stand-by.This three-pack is fairly good value; you're lucky if you get one reed out of a box of ten that's good straight off; having three to work with means that you'll at least get one you can be happy with, even if it needs a little doctoring or playing-in. Nice that they include a plastic case for each reed too.

Good quality product and a more economical multipack.
Good quality product and a more economical multipack. Although you can buy in greater quantity this has been a good way for a beginner to try out a variety of different tenor saxophone reeds as recommended. 3 reeds in individual plastic casings to keep them in good condition. They are lasting well and I have liked all the Rico reeds I've tried. Quickly despatched and great service from the seller.

Easy to use
These are the first I have had to install, I find them easy to install and use so would recommend them to anyone.

Top Reed for rock/pop sax.
Rico gives a great edgy tone when combined with an Otto Link mouthpiece. Far superior to the Vandoren jazz reeds.
