Great for naturalistas who hate grays
This product has consistently provided great coverage of gray hairs with no orange or undesired residual tint. It works best when mixed with warm water or even warm coffee. It can be quite a mess when you are first leaning how to mix and get the right consistency. But the color is really lasting since it is a protein and becomes part of your hair strand. Beware… Do not use if you want to go lighter. It does not strip easily! But this is the only hair color or trust on my locs.

MEJOR QUE UN TINTE
La verdad era la primera vez usando henna pero esta es exelente, tiñe super padre y profundo el cabello. Le dio una tonalidad más caoba super padre y no dañe mi cabello.

NOT Organic, All Natural, Plant based as the product page implies.
Many people switch to henna based hair dyes due to a sensitivity to p-Phenylenediamine (PPD), which is in most commercial hair dyes. For people sensitive to PPD exposure can cause painful, burning, oozing blisters.Immediately on applying the dye, my wife, who is PPD sensitive, complained of a burning sensation. I found the package and checked the ingredients. Photo attached. The product description on the Amazon page says that this 100% Organic, all-natural, plant based, and chemical free. Based on that description it would be natural to assume that the product does not contain PPD, which is NOT organic, all-natural or plant based. Please see the text picture submitted along with this review which was screen captured directly from the Amazon page.It also contains Sodium Perborate, which has been banned in Europe for being carcinogenic and mutagenic.Sodium metabisulfite which is defined as an inorganic compound – Hardly organic or plant based. In the short time that my wife had this “Organic. All Natural, Plant-based” product in her hair she developed the same type of blisters that had resulted from PPD containing hair dyes in the past. This false or, at the very least, misleading description should be corrected so that people who are using a henna-based product to avoid PPDs are not risking injury.
