Amazing for a child
My little grandson really enjoys this fishing rod. It is the best size for him. It includes so many accessories and has a nice carry on case. It is worth the purchase!

CHEAP
the real was broken lucky I had a good old reliable Zebco 202 so my grandson wasn't completely crushed on birthday/fishing trip! should have known better than buy generic my mistake won't happen again the whole thing was cheap should have paid an additional couple of bucks and bought Zebco, Shakespeare Ect.Gary S Smith

The rod and kit are very nice
The rod and kit were a nice start for my 7year old girl, she loves it, but the reel is very cheap so I gave her my other open spinning reel. Put the spinning reel on it and it works great. They should make one with an open reel. I’d buy it again but with an open reel

Easy to set up and store

Could be better quality
Can only reel in lighter weights. My other kids pole can handle twice the weight level. Has stopped releasing the fishing line and have to pull it out by hand to release line into water.
