Works perfectly
Fits perfectly, but be sure you need FIP (Female Iron Pipe) threads - they are straight, not tapered.

It was cheap and I didnt have to run to the hardware store to get it. And it worked fine.

FIPT to CPVC
If you have a reason to adapt 1/2" CPVC to 1/2" FIPT, this is what you need.

Found this fitting and a very cheap price here at Amazon. Worked perfectly and when you live in the country, it's nice to have these type of parts available online.

This is a quality adapter but cannot be used to connect to a garden hose to 3/4" CPVC. It will not.
While this is a quality adapter and it appears it could be used to connect a garden hose to 3/4" CPVC. It will not.The threaded end is not an exact fit. I needed to do a pressure test on my system so I used this but had to use plumbers tape.

This fitting was just what I needed to connect a whole house water filter to my system. It worked just as it should.

Split at seam
6 out of the 8 fittings I purchased split at the seam when threading in a fitting. Not sure if I just got a bad batch but didn't have the same problem from another brand purchased at a local store.
