Over the years, I bought 3
I love these. I bought one for my garage, one for my basement workbench, and one for my toolshed. Why so many? I am 75 and have difficulty walking, so I don't get around easily. These drill motors are great. Very reliable. They keep a charge for what seems like forever. Highly recommend.

Excellent tool, excellent value
Excellent tool, excellent value. Comes with screwdriver heads as well. Would like a second battery. When it dies out you have to stop.

Great value/starter/casual chuckless drill kit
This is an excellent set for casual or infrequent use. The collection of drill bits is useful and the system uses the excellent 20 V batteries you find in other B+D tools, which is nice. There's no case or bag though.Unfortunately my battery came DOA. Just wouldn't charge. Thankfully Stanley/B+D sent me a replacement for free. Thank you! Excellent customer service.

solid tool for home projects
When I first received the BLACK+DECKER drill, the battery wouldn’t work, but customer service responded quickly and resolved the issue without any hassle. The drill has been super helpful for assembling our furniture—it saved us a lot of time and effort. Just a heads-up: if you’re planning to work with hex screws, you’ll need to buy a separate bit set, as it’s not included. Overall, a solid tool for home projects.

Seemingly a good deal from Warehouse Deals
Warehouse Deals gave a big discount on this drill with some accessories. I figured that even if the drill was a disappointment, the battery, charger, drill bits, etc. were almost worth the purchase price. In my experience, Warehouse Deals tries to honestly evaluate products. They rated this item "Acceptable". I understood from the description that there was some kind of cosmetic damage on the top of the drill. I figured it had been dropped or had a factory blemish but still worked. But I never saw any significant blemish on the case of the drill. The only defect as far as I am concerning is that the drill smells bad when turned on.====Update 16NOV23: I have been using the drill. The stinky smell is almost gone. I am gaining confidence in it.Maybe the smell isn't serious, like maybe caused by the new brushes seating on the armature. The smell does seem to be diminishing. Sparking from the brushes is not excessive. I don't remember any other cordless tool that I've owned smelling like that. If you sort the reviews for 1-star reviews, you will see lots of complaints about these drills having a burning smell. I wouldn't have bought the drill if Warehouse Deals had said that it generates a burning smell. Maybe a customer returned it without using it because of the smell.I gave this stinky drill a 5-star rating because I am using it, and because I think that the accessories including the battery are new. If the drill fails within the return window, I will return it. But otherwise, in my view, it's a fair deal. I saved $25 over the regular price. The drill works. I use it every other day. And I ignore the smell. Even though the Product Details said that the drill was heavy-duty, I never thought it would be as good as my Ryobi or my Dewalt drill when I bought it. I just wanted another functional cordless drill so I wouldn't have to keep changing bits as often.

Battery DOA
The battery was dead on arrival. When I reached out to the manufacturer, they responded quickly (within a minute, actually), which I appreciated, but their solution left a lot to be desired. They told me to return the entire drill set through Amazon instead of just replacing the faulty battery.Logistically, I get it; it’s probably easier for them to have Amazon handle full returns than them sending a partial part replacement, but as the customer, it still feels like I’m paying the price for something that wasn’t my fault. I even offered to send a video showing the issue, but that part of my message was completely ignored. So now I’m stuck having to take an hour out of my day to go drop off the return, reordering the same product, and hoping the new one works. I get that defects happen, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for a little more flexibility, especially when I’m offering proof.Plus, how can I trust that the next one won't be faulty either? I ordered an electric screwdriver from them a couple years ago, and the charger failed. Not as bad as "DOA," sure, and the warranty had expired, so I didn’t push it, but I’ve owned other tools that lasted far longer.I don’t think I’m being that unreasonable. I just want to buy a product, have it work, and, if something’s wrong, deal with a support team that offers more than one solution. I’ll be looking elsewhere. Quick replies are nice, but they don’t make up for poor reliability or limited support options.
