It is more like a balm. A great barrier that slides on nice and has a little more moisture than ChapStick. I would not say it gives a shine but your lips look more moisturized.

It has a pretty neutral smell and taste.

It is a regular sized tube of lipstick. It wears more like a clear lip sealant that you put on over your lipstick to protect the color from running. It wears nicely on bare lips too.
