Helo, No, Möller´s cod liver oil is not cold processed or fermented. Heat is used durnig the purifcation process. It is needed to remove unwanted substances. It is obvious that oils not being refined have a much higher content of contaminants. This is confirmed by the analysis on behalf of the Norwegian Food Safety Authority. Regards.
