Works fine for day time naps in a chair, so I would presume it is fine for use on a long haul flight. Not so good in bed. When sleeping on my side, as I usually do, the mask gets pushed to one or other side of my head sufficiently so that my eyelashes get caught on the edge of the mask irritating my eye and waking me. I do take a large size in hats so that might be a factor. One size fits all for eye masks may not be optimal. One work around that I have found helps is to wear a watch cap in bed, pulling it down in front so that the cap covers the top third of the mask. This helps stop the mask moving. The elastic strap and velcro were so bad I couldn't actually try the mask. The velcro is only about an inch long, meaning it's effectively impossible to adjust the length of the strap, and the elastic is thin and weak.
