Whew...man, never seen so many unhelpful responses. Though I suppose at least people are somewhat trying in their own way. Anywho, unless your 'used' variation shows as anything but 'like new,' I would avoid it. 'Very good' used condition is sometimes viable, but when the dollar signs are getting this big already anyway, usually you won't save enough from buying used to make it worthwhile. So based on my experience over the last decade having bought hundreds of Amazon products - some used, in general I would advise: Only try used if it lists as 'like new.' And that's only if you are saving a decent amount in the difference between truly new and 'like new.' I realize this response isn't as helpful as it could be, but at least it hopefully answers your question and doesn't otherwise avoid it, or seem to be answering a completely different question altogether.
