This might be a little bit of a long-winded story. I have a friend who was a teacher of mine from fifth grade. Lost touch with him for many years and got back in touch six or so years ago. I would say he’s absolutely one of the most incredible people I’ve met in my life, his wife as well such an incredible person. The family is just so wonderful and so down-to-earth and genuine and I love them so so so much. A few weeks ago I bought this teddy bear and sent it to him for his wife who was in a facility due to dementia. Something in my heart told me when I saw this teddy bear that I need to send it , so that’s exactly what I did and I can tell you that I am forever grateful that I did. With extreme sadness in his heart he wrote to me a couple of days ago and she had passed. It’s been a very very tough thing for me emotionally to get through , so this next part really touches my heart in a way that I don’t even know how to explain. Once she saw the teddy bear, she kept it with her every moment while she was laying in bed and the family was there for the last eight days every moment of those days , making her comfortable as they knew that end of life was coming. My teacher as well as his daughter because I keep in touch with her as well and of course she is an incredible human being. The whole family is incredible. They both told me that she was hanging onto the bear and would not let go of it for days , and when she took her last breath, she had in her arms. So I’m just here to share the story and to tell you that a teddy bear can mean so much more than that. If you feel in your heart that you need to do something and your intuition is telling you too then I highly recommend that you do. This was really the greatest closure that I could’ve asked for. When I felt that I should get her a teddy bear and if I had not believe me, it would be much worse in my heart, but I just felt very very strong than I needed to do that and I’m so glad that I did. She loved the bear so much and the family does as well. Thank you to those who have read this long story. For the people that are in your life love them hug them, and don’t be afraid to share your feelings and thoughts, as we truly never know when any of us will be gone.

I like making people jealous and junior year of high school is the perfect place to do that.Now what’s the perfect item to make high schoolers jealous on Valentines Day? Oh I know! A big a** bear!!!The second I walked onto campus carrying a 5 foot freaking bear, I was on 50 peoples different snapchat stories for the day.Any girl I passed who wasn’t my girl just dropped their head with their sad little roses and tiny bears in hand. Sorry your boyfriend isn’t extra like I am, hahah!Somehow I managed to sneak up on my girlfriend with everyone gawking at me and my human sized bear. I tapped her on the shoulder, she turned around and screamed into her hands. It was the best feeling in the world seeing that amount of sheer joy enter her eyes. I could have literally proposed and she would have loved the bear better, I swear haha!She named himBankie (not a clue why) but he’s occupied her bedroom more than I have.Valentine’s Day of 2018 was great. I have officially solidified myself as a damn good boyfriend. I’ll be pulling elaborate stuff like this when I’m married to her too, you bet ya!Technical stuff:I saw some people complaining about the bear arriving all moist and gross. That wasn’t the case for me so I’m going to assume the company took those reviews to heart and solved that issue.The bear arrived in one of those vacuum sealed bags. You know, those “As seen on TV” Vacuum sealed things? Pretty great and pretty dry. Plus it was kind of funny watching the bear practically inflat when I opened the vacuum sealed bag haha

I bought this for my yellow lab. He absolutely loves it. It is well-built and super cute.

This bear is HUGE! It's bigger than most 5 year olds. That being said, I wish it had more stuffing. It came vacuum packed so I thought the stuffing just needed to puff up more, but it's been 3 weeks and it still looks deflated. The other vacuum packed items puffed up no problem, so I think it just needs more stuffing.

One of her favorite toys doesnt squeek. I originally bought it for my girlfriend on Valentine’s Day and when it came in the mail it’s a super super small bear so I ended up giving it to her dog and her dog plays with it every single day since I’ve given it to her and she has over 50 toys.
