Worth the money
I bought this to have a back up for my impact driver (another brand) and for the price it’s awesome you also get a drill and batteries to power both! The carrying case makes it handy to store in a utility closet for a quick use. I thought it was such a great bargain that I bought a second one for my sons new house to help him build up his tool box. I strongly recommend this item for its value, ease of use and convenience. One take away is that the batteries are the lowest ones available for the charge time. I helped him with mounting a few things in his home and it ran out of power during more extended use times. But hey the price is right…try pricing a heavier charge battery and you will see how they can keep this price down. Of course you can always purchase a longer lasting rechargeable battery for these and the charger it came with will charge those.

Outstanding Performer for the Money
I've used Ryobi cordless drills for years. My 2 old 12 volt drills are still going after a good number of years of neglect. These have tons of power and great battery life. I've used them for several projects with solid results. The drill is powerful. The impact driver is plenty strong enough for nuts and bolt. It will literally rip off the heads of small bolts if you get too aggressive. It's not something you'd use on lug nuts. (It's not built for that anyway) For the homeowner who likes projects I don't believe you can beat them for the price.

Great tools
For the non-professional this is a great value. The more modern brushless version has about 25% more battery life, but the typical home user will never need it, and this is a lot cheaper. Other than the motor with brushes, this seems to be the same construction as the brushless models. I drove a dozen screws through plywood into studs, and the battery was only depleted a little when I was done. These are lightweight with good power.

Drill was 4 years old already when I bought - warranty was expired already
Battery died in 1 year, called Ryobi to get a replacement today and they stated the battery was 5 years old and the seller is not an authorized seller for the manufacturer. Beware of items not sold by Amazon.

Two Year Review: Battered but not Broken
I purchased this set in June, 2022. I've used them a lot in the time since, and especially abused the impact working on wood projects or on my car with an adapter for sockets. So far I have not had them fail on me, with one minor gripe. The clutch on the drill isn't entirely accurate or reliable. At very low settings (10 or below), which in all fairness is most important, it works fine. But at higher settings, I've noticed the clutch fail to engage.I also recommend the 4ah batteries for these or any other Ryobi product. You get both more time, but more power out of those batteries than the wimpy 1.5ah this comes with. Honestly I'd rather have one single 4ah than two or even three 1.5ah batteries. That being said I still recommend this set to anyone looking to get into a cordless system. It was my intro to Ryobi and now I have a half dozen of their products. My next goal is a dedicated 1/2 inch impact, so I can stop abusing this poor impact driver on my car.

Fantastic for it's intended use
Great price for the kit, under $100.Works great with everything I've needed to do around the house.Comes with 2 batteries that I have yet to diminish in a single use.Built-in light is there, not really worth mentioning. It's a neat feature.Looking forward to expanding my collection of Ryobi products.

Everybody needs this set
Great tools. I have several other Ryobi tools and have no complaints about any of them. Strong, durable, powerful, reasonably priced and durable.
