No, they stick up beyond the hanging file.

Q: what is the paper weight?

I bought the files last year so I don’t know the weight, but, they are thinner and lighter than any folder I had bought in the past.

Q: Do these packs come with left right and center folders?

Yes. The tabs are in three different positions on the set I bought in blue.
