Q: how many players is this for?

This game is for 2 or 4 players. OR being the key word here. The game is designed for 2 factions fighting each other, 1 blue and 1 red. If you go 4 players, you split your armies in half. (There's dark red and red figures and light blue and dark blue figures.) The armies you split in half are on the same team as well. So it's not a free for all game. If you have a third person that doesn't mind being a unbiased person, they can help by making sure the rules are being followed and they can roll for Booker too. They can also take over some small "banker" style things like tracking Elizabeth and being the vote taker etc.... I bring this up b/c there's a lot of stuff that happens in the game that could benefit from a mediator to keep the game flowing faster. It's not a necessary thing though by any means. It's just an idea just in case you have the game and 3 people wanting to see the game in action. :-)

I believe that 89.99 is the regular base price. When i got my copy it was about that. As far as I know there is no "other" version. 44 bucks os a great price for this game. Get it.
