Fast and Easy
I used this to remove an ugly amateur refinishing job from a large 1950s dresser, in order to restore it to its original color. The previous finish was some kind of modern polyurethane, which was maybe 15-20 years old. This stripper took it off quickly, efficiently, and with little trouble. I applied it in a thick coat with a foam brush, and after only a few minutes, the old finish was lifting and came off easily. This stripper is not thick enough to apply to vertical surfaces, but it works quickly, so I was able to strip one side of the case, turn it over, and then strip the other side, along with the top and drawers in about 2 hours, including clean-up. Although this is a large piece, I still have enough product left to remove some remaining finish from the top of another, smaller dresser I'm working on. Very pleased with this stuff, and I will definitely use it again.

Best polyurethane stripper
The stripper works better than any stripper I have bought and used from any big box store like Home Depot or Lowes. I am stripping our large front cedar door and door frame with fancy designs and multiple layers of polyurethane which was in badly need of repair. I have had to brush on the stripper vertically at least 2-3 times to get the door frame clean, but it works. Goes on easy and removes easily. The stripper does work well on vertical and fancy designs in the upright position, but it takes more stripper to clean, and patience. When brushed on horizontally it only takes a single coat to clean the multiple layered polyurethane on the cedar wood.

Doesn’t work very well
Put multiple applications and covered in plastic, let sit overnight and it still didn’t remove very much paint. Can’t return it so I wasted my time and money with this stuff.

Still a pain
Good reviews, not sure if they were referring to the removal of 75 years of every color of paint imaginable from an oak stairway. Hoped for removal, then sanding so I could then stain. Not to be, even with 3 sessions of stripper, scrapping, sanding. Repainting. Maybe it works for removing newer paint. The old strippers, while deadly, sure worked.

Will remove solvent based sealer from concrete brick pool coping
I first tried using pure Xylene, Acetone, and Lacquer Thinner to remove the sealer but merely softened the tinted urethane sealer for only seconds and left too little time to scrape. Needless to say the fumes were toxic even when wearing a mask. A heavy coat of this stripper softened the sealer in 3 or 4 minutes but required heavy pressure on my scraper to remove all the coats. The first coat of stripper removed about 80% of the sealer from the coping surface. Each brick required 2 coats to remove all sealer and the curved end of the coping will require 2 more coat possibly from inside the the pool. Stripping solvent based sealer from concrete brick pool coping is near impossible task but at least stripper can do it. Surprising effective stripper with only very mild fumes compared to Acetone, etc. Great stuff.

Counter refresh
Bought our house where the previous owner painted over the countertops - This helped strip it right off and left the original countertops in good condition. So glad we purchased this to help strip off the paint.I submitted a before and after photo

Gets the job done!
I own a home that was built before 1920 and has been painted multiple times without ever seeing the previous coats removed. This was the only product of the 4 or 5 I tried which cut through the nearly 20 layers of paint. It was a very messy job, but this got it done. It did not coat well on vertical surfaces for removing multiple coats, so be aware that you will need to strip off 2-3 coats at a time on vertical surfaces if the paint there is particularly thick.

Works great
I tried a few different brands and this one worked really well. It smells like peppermint (at least that is what I smelled). This stuff tore through some really hard varnish that another stripper couldn't even put a dent in. It does dry really quick so plastic wrap is a must if you dont slap on a 1/8 layer of this stuff (probably good to do a wrap even if you lay it on thick).
