GOOD FOR THE MONEY
5 STARS "FOR THE PRICE"Everything works, MP3 music through USB and SD works good. The radio is crisp with the antenna wire that's included.I do not use bluetooth, so no insight. The true power rating is stated as 8 watts RMS per channel at 10% THD, which is normal at this price. It's great for my garage.

Impressive
This is a great little unit. It packs more features than other similar products from Pyle. Sure the power is a bit lower than other offerings, but with 2 aux + CD + BT + USB + FM radio ; this unit is a much better offering than the higher power Pyle mini receivers. Those other units trade a bit more watts for a lot less connection options. So, here is something else..... It is obvious that the unit has an FM radio (turns out, it has a pretty decent channel scanner) but the user guide did not really make it very obvious how to get there. I was on the Pyle web site trying to find out if there was a better manual online (there wasn't) , but on a lark I started a chat at (get this!) 11:30 PST -- and I'll be darned -- but there was someone to take up the chat. Wow! I was surprised by support at that hour.Well, they showed me how obvious (sic) it is to get access to the FM radio. Really, it isn't obvious -- lets just say that the mode button does more than the manual says it does.I'd give this a strong recommend on the bang4buck scale.

Good amp, find a good set of speakers to pair it with.
Application: I used this product to power two Realistic Minimus 7 speakers that I found at a thrift show--great, old, quality mini speakers. The speakers being 8 Ohms each run this amp at 2x20 Watts, in reality. They sound great through this amp, awesome tone, covers Mids and highs extremely well. I'm using the recording output to run a line output to an awesome Sylvania powered sub (that came with satellite treble and mid speakers--also great speakers) I picked up from big lots on the cheap through a lot of research (I'm not using the treble speakers at all with this setup). I mix music and do a lot of DIY studio stuff, I've got a really good ear for sound, I work operating sound equipment with bands and other applications and I'm going to be using this setup for personal uses for quite a while, I am impressed...Review: The amp itself does the job, there are 3 RCA inputs, one 1/8 inch input on the front (selected by toggling to the CD input without having any signal running through the RCA input for the same channel) and a USB input plus a 1/4 inch Microphone input. I'm most likely only going to use the RCA inputs and the front jack for quick connection. This amp powers the speakers I'm using without any signal degradation, the only controls I'm really using are the selection knobs and the volume pot. Both work very well, no scratches in the volume. I'm not using the bass/treble knobs because I have a GEQ in my signal line that does the job for balancing frequencies. I'm not using the mic input because it's unnecessary for my uses. The recording output works very well for my uses--chaining the signal out to a sub. This output is not affected by any of the knobs except for the selector. The only negative thing I really have to say about this device is that the rear panel where all of the patching happens--where all of the RCA inputs and outputs and speaker outputs are, is really weak, it feels like there are screws missing on the top of the panel so that when you push in connections, you feel like the panel is going to break into the rest of the housing.Bottom Line: This device is very good. It does the job, just be careful when plugging it all in and installing it because the rear panel is very weak. If you can find some, the Minimus 7 Realistic speakers pair extremely well with this device. If you have speakers with low power necessities, this will do the job. There are numerous features on this device that have worked excellently on my device and I would recommend it. Be careful when connecting and disconnecting components on the back panel.

Works OK but is quirky.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this item because of the price point and the small size. I does work as advertised but sometimes I have to turn it on and off 2 times to get it to produce sound. sometimes initial power up will take a minute to produce sound otherwise I have to turn it off and on. I seen another review stating the speakers do not produce the same amount of volume between right and left and I notice this too but I can live with it. will see how long it lasts before it dies, I did get a warrenty for it just incase.

Operated for 1 Year 7 months
First unit I ordered had a difference of about 6dB volume between the Left and Right channels. Pyle support didn't seem to believe at first I knew what I was talking about.Replacement unit played fine up until this month (February 2024).Powered the unit on selected FM tuner, I heard music audio being pulsed approximately three times and then the unit fell silent. Powered on but no sound heard.Removed cover, checked connections etc. Re-assembled. Powered it on, there was a slight hum which diminished. Selected FM and it now played again. A couple days later, hum increased when powered on but diminished after a few minutes. Crackling noises from right channel, but now it is completely dead/silent. Only the Left channel plays.I only paid $53.70 for this unit, but I guess you get what you pay for.I ordered the same make/model as a replacement. I am returning this third unit as I realize it would probably only fail in a short period of time too.Time to consider something much higher quality like the Denon RCD-N10 or slightly better.
