These have been a godsend since my little dog really needs to chew on things in order to keep her teeth nice and clean and her breath smelling nice. I had tried the popular brands that are made with rice. My dog has problems with grains. They cause her extreme inflammation. I was hoping that I would be able to use the dental chews, but the ones I tried that were made with rice caused my little dog to swell up like a water balloon. I'm very glad that I was persistent and kept looking for some chews that were made grain-free. These are awesome! My dog does not get any inflammation and pain . They do a great job and my dog's breath doesn't make me want to push her off of my lap anymore, lol.

These are great dog treats, they keep my dog’s breath fresh. They smell great and have ridges like a toothbrush for her. She loves them. I get the extra small and give her a few every day. Even though she is a large dog. Recommend trying them to see if your dog likes them.

Our dog trainer advised us to read labels carefully and make sure products are made/cooked in the USA. These have been confirmed to be cooked in the USA. Our 14lb Cavapoo loves these and they are the perfect size for his daily “brushing”. He loves them and is able to break them down quickly and leaves his breath minty fresh!

Nutri Dent seemed to be okay, but I noticed the following: They are hard, and if my dog bit off pieces and swallowed them (instead of chewing them), then he sometimes would vomit the unchewed pieces later.I recently switched my dog to Merrick Grain-Free dog food, so I decided to see if they offered dental treats as well. I purchased both kinds of Merrick Fresh Kisses: Coconut Oil + Botanicals, and Mint-Flavored. My dog definitely prefers the Coconut Oil + Botanicals.I like that Merrick Fresh Kisses has healthy ingredients and a short ingredient list. I feed my Chihuahua this dental treat 3 times per week. Unlike the Nutri Dent, the Merrick dental treat is not as hard, which means my dog is more likely to chew it, instead of swallowing hard pieces whole. So far, he has not vomited after eating the Merrick Fresh Kisses.Since I give my dog this dental treat only 3 times per week, a bag of 78 will last him 6 months. And that makes them affordable. I'm happy to switch my dog to a healthier dental treat.

We order these over and over. My dog does not like other similar brands - just these.

So far my dog still has bad breath, and he can't chew even the XSmalls. I break them in half and he STILL has trouble. Also, I'm not sure the chewy texture cleans teeth well. I'll be looking for a crunchy dental to try.
