Good piece of kit
I was able to practice a bunch of kayak self rescues with it a few times, and was satisfied with it's performance. I did attach some tubing to the exhaust or outflow or whatever it's called, about 6", to help it get over the gunwale reliably at odd angles, and a screen (T shirt, and window screen material) to keep grit out. It's a pinch bigger than I'd prefer to keep in a yak but I found a good mounting spot and am happy with the pump.

Fast way to drain a small fishing boat
I have a small (14') fishing boat which periodically needs to be pumped out after a heavy rain storm. This small hand pump moves more water than I was expecting. It's simple, lightweight, and works well.

Adequate small hand pump
I bought this for my sit in kayak in the event i needed to do a solo recovery. It moved enough water per stroke to empty the kayak without too much effort. Good or bad, I put silicone lubricant on the rubber parts (spraying inside) to keep the rubber supple so it will work when I need it to. It’s not easily disassembled.

It Pumps Water
I wanted a basic pump for my kayak. This one does the job. I have one sealed back compartment and have a bow airbag to minimize the amount of water in yak if flipped. This pump will not be fast and requires some effort, but it fits the need. I will likely attach a short piece of flexible tubing to improve its ease of use.

Great for cheap sit in kayak
After flipping my sit in kayak one time, I went on a hunt for a pump to get the water out next time.. and I found this.. designed exactly for the scenario I needed it for. Now I have this bungeed in the cockpit where its easy to grab after a rollover to get the water out. I tested it and it works great.

Works as it should.
Works as it should. Used it bailing out a 10ft kayak. You are gonna be there for a while I can tell you that much. But it's better than the alternative. I'm going to add a bit of hose so I don't have to hover in one spot. And some sort of filter on the inlet or you will destroy this thing with rocks and such. Not very compact so please look into that if that's a concern of yours.

A Clean drink for Local Wildlife in 109f🥵
The media could not be loaded. This pump is extremely useful, not for just going out on the water, but little things, an overflowing washing machine, emptying a bucket without having to lift it to the sink and changing my little pond’s water! To protect the insides from getting junk sucked up I used a handheld vacuum filter protector and a little rubber band, and added a piece of old hose with some electrical tape to make it a watertight fit and shoved it into the exit valve. The pond was emptied in less than 2 minutes, would have been faster if I had more coffee in me😉 emptying it by hand would have taken an hour and it’s really hot in Nevada🥵Overall a really great tool to have around the house/garage for emergency spills of any size, yes you can use a shop vac but it’s a production to drag it from the garage and find a plug..*1 tiny flaw, slight leaking from the screws, nothing a little super glue can’t fix

Excellent safety addition to my small boat. Quality peace of mind.
Excellent manual bailer for my small boat. Have tested it - suctioned a large amount of water per pump than I had expected. Nice to have that security in the boat. Hope to never need it.Appears very well made. Suction pump easy to operate. Moves good water volume per pump.I did add a 3ft section of hose at the outflow to make it easier to direct any excess water turnover the gunwale of my little boat.
