Excellent Alarm
This Alarm is amazing. Cant believe the price for an alarm that works so well and does so much. It has good distance for the remotes. Easy to install. Appear to be of good quality.

Easy to install
I bought this alarm system for my 2007 Ford F150. It was very easy to install the remotes. Have a very good range, I wish the siren was a little louder, but overall everything works. I did have to buy an additional pin switch for my truck bed cover. Once wired in it worked perfect with the alarm.

Unacceptable automatic rearm
This is review of "BANVIE Car Security Alarm System with Microwave Sensor & Shock Sensor". One star off for unacceptable automatic rearm "feature". If you disarm system with remote, it will automatically rearm 25 seconds later, if no door is opened or ignition turned on. This could be a option feature, but default ON is not appropriate, and no option to disable is not acceptable. If I push "unlock" on the remote, system should stay unlocked until I push "lock" on the remote, NOT rearm itself. I found a sort of workaround: I added a dashboard switch, to switch ACC signal (white wire) to battery voltage, to hold system disarmed, while still allowing remote to lock and unlock doors. - System performs as advertised for all functions tested. As noted in other reviews, the installation challenge is primarily locating and tapping into the appropriate vehicle wires. Including considerations for routing wires through the firewall, between engine compartment and passenger area. Suggest ensure you are able to locate and tap into required wires before ordering unit. - My installation was for a vehicle with added door lock actuators "Universal Car Power Door Lock Actuators" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CZBQCR2/ Consider how to physically route wires from door to vehicle interior. The appropriate wiring for this type is "Positive and negative triggering" as indicated by the included installation schematics. Other options are available for vehicle with OEM door lock activators. - I attached the included shock sensor to the dashboard metal frame with one screw. At maximum sensitivity it is extremely sensitive, responding to quiet sharp noises outside vehicle. Easy to adjust sensitivity to appropriate for environment. - I set microwave sensor to maximum sensitivity, and positioned it centered in front console area. It activates when body enters car and doesn't activate to bodies outside of car. Siren is not terribly loud, and it makes reasonably loud sound mounted in engine compartment facing down. Output sounds are various communication chirps as well as multi-mode sound variations upon alarm activation. - Remote control units feel good quality and activate system from considerable distance. If armed with "silent" button, disarming is likewise silent. Else arm / disarm is indicated by chirp patterns. The "trunk open" button could be used for any arbitrary function you wire that output (red/black wire) to.

It Does Work
For the price, you'd be hard pressed to find another alarm kit with the same amount of features. I am a former Team Lead for Mercedes-Benz so wiring and Electrical diagnosis are right in my wheel house but it took me some extra time to figure the wiring out for this alarm, especially the way the instructed to install the relay for the kill switch. Instead of the kill switch being integrated into the the actual alarm module (like on Viper Alarm systems) they have you wire in a relay into the ignition switch wire that the module ground side switches to activate the relay when you disarm the system. During install (1999 Honda Civic), I triple checked that each wire I tapped into was the correct wire on the vehicle, before I connected anything. Then once all that was confirmed, I wired each function one at a time and double checked that the feature worked before moving onto the next feature. So I am 1,000% sure I wired everything correctly according to the Banvie Instructions. With that being said, I am having a weird door trigger issue. The feature works as designed when the alarm is activated, however, it flashes the parking lights, when you open any door, and continues to flash the parking lights until the door open/dome light timer times out. If you have the car on and open a door, the flashing of the parking lights never stops. The only thing I can think of, is the alarm module is in a certain mode but there's no instructions on how to change this mode. Pros - It works. Key fobs feel like solid quality Cons - Poor install instructions. Weird parking light flashing feature when opening the car doors.

great!!!!
The alarm for its price is just super. Those who write about thin wires, I can answer - on all alarms, the wires are standard. I have installed a lot of alarms in my life, and I can say that the alarm is normal for its price. Yes, I had to tinker. But having a multimeter and tools on hand is not difficult. The only thing is that to connect the trunk actuator, I had to buy a relay. But in general, everything is great.
