I can get ice cubes in it. Keeps things cold. Did I mention I can get ice cubes to fit into it?5/2/16 took a star off. Today while washing, the little metal disc that covers the silicone seal on the bottom of the thermos came off exposing the silicone plug that maintains the vacuum. I thoroughly dried the bottom of the thermos and the metal disc and reattached it with some Shoe-Goo. Let's see if that holds!? Without that metal disc in place, I can see how one could easily knock in the plug and breach the vacuum making the item kind of useless as a thermos.6-7-2016 Ordered a second one in grey... same thing. First time in the dishwasher the metal disc on the bottom detached from the container leaving the silicone seal for the vacuum hole exposed. This time, it is white silicone instead of clear and seemed a little firmer than the stainless unit I first received. Regardless, this plug/adhesive did no better a job of retaining the protective disc. A large pea size dab of shoe goo and pressed the disc back on so the adhesive came to the edges and no problems since with washing or retention. Considering the price point they are still a good value IF you already have a tube of Shoe-Goo or similar adhesive to repair the units when they start to fail (they don't lose' their vacuum unless the actual adhesive plug itself is compromised). If you don't have the adhesive in your drawer, rather than buying some, just spend a few extra bucks on one of the similar units more highly rated that don't have this seemingly ongoing problem. They have obviously changed the adhesive but it's still not getting the job done so taking another star off!6-27-16 The gray plastic paint on the exterior of the bottle started flaking off. I sent a message through the Amazon portal and Glacier point promptly replied and gave me a full refund on the bottle. They also asked I give them another try due to changes in manufacturing...7-6-2016 I am glad to report that both of the issues have been addressed. The bottle is now powder coated and there is not metal disc on the bottom covering the whole. Whatever is being used to seal the whole has no give and is now covered completely with the powder coating. Glacier Point finally resolved all of the manufacturing issues with these bottles and now they do everything one could ask. No more disc to fall off, seal the hole on the bottom so vacuum integrity is not at risc, and go from a painted coating which failed, to a powder coating.Top that off with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE they have earned a 5 star rating.

Lots of other good reviews that I read before buying, trust them. These work. I have two. A 32 oz green one for keeping water cold and a 25oz grey one for coffee. No idea about the time they will keep something cold or hot but I still have cold water at night after filling mine in the morning and refilling several times during the day. Also keeps coffee hot until until I drink it all even if I forget and don't finish until the evening. And they don't leak.

This water bottle exceeds all expectations.Competitively priced, it keeps ice water icy for a long, long time. I live in southern Arizona and it can handle the heat and not lose its cool. Two different caps make this an exceptional value.Also works well with cold adult beverages at the beach ;).

For general health reasons, I am trying to avoid plastics, in particular food and water storage. I have been using bpa-free water bottles for a decade but wanted to switch to stainless steel. Also, most stainless steel water bottles require a plastic cap. Not this one! Hence my purchase!This has a stainless steel cap. It also comes with a plastic cap and two straws if you prefer that. The bottle is visually appealing, holds 750ml and is not heavy feeling. The cap also has a nice handle on it, although it isn't in a fixed position. So if you're noise averse with a sleeping infant next to you, use the plastic cap.My decision for this purchase was not based on the ability to keep hots hot or colds cold. But so far it appears to accomplish as advertised. Maybe the Yeti is better at that, but I don't really need more than 24 hours of temp control, and the Yeti has a plastic cap (no no forme) and is $20+ more expensive.

This is the perfect stainless steel water bottle. It is 25 oz, keeps my water cold for hours. I put cold water in it and set it on my nightstand and in the morning the water is still very cool. I do not use the plastic cap so can't comment on that, but the stainless steel cap fits perfect, NO LEAKS! I am so happy to find the perfect all stainless steel water bottle where even the lid is stainless. Absolutely no plastic touching my water anymore! It seems VERY well made and durable to me.

I love this bottle because it works so well! It is a great value and holds more water than the other one I have. I got this bigger one for my husband and took over a smaller one for myself. It keeps water cold overnight. (We haven't tried longer but I'm sure it would work, we just drink it all by then!) It also comes with a straw cap and two straws which are great for workouts. I did wash it in the dishwasher and some of the black came off of it though. I've included a pic with a non insulated kleen kanteen to help illustrate the width. This barely fits in our cup holders in our Tahoe and Ram. My husband always grabs for this bottle before any other we have and we have literally a shelf full of bottles. I may need to get a second one so he can always have one while the other is in the wash!

Works great! I love stainless steal water bottles. Can use flavored drinks in it without ruining the water bottle. With plastic water bottles i always have issues if i put flavored drinks in them. Next time i put water in it always tastes awful. Stainless is super easy to clean! Works great tested it out with margarita on a 85 degree day. after 1.5 hours it was still perfectly slushy! I was very impressed. I bought it to keep water cold while golfing and it works great for that also. I was very impressed that it came with 2 straws and two different styles of lids. Will be buying another in the future. My fiance immediately asked if i would buy her one when she saw mine so now i know if i dont buy a second one mine will always "disappear"
