Works for gofers well, but requires repeated use over time. Also it is not easy to find underground pass. Attempt to put pencil/ be sure cover is removed/ directly inside of hole of mount caused it to pushed out next day... by smart gofer. I used metal pin inserted in mount and was probing it to different directions in order to find a gofer pass. Then made a hole for 🖊 in close proximity taking in consideration direction of pass. I wish it would have double packaging to replace 🖊s after opening /as mentioned by another buyer/. Otherwise might loose distinct garlic aroma and ...activity. Tried other recommended remedies / but not KILLERS/ and they did not work.

It's difficult to tell if this truly deters the gophers but it seems to. It does have a strong smell.

Somewhat to my surprise, they seem to be remarkably effective. I bought them because the damned gophers got used to the noisemakers. So far, the garlic seems to be keeping them at bay.Time will tell how well they work, but be prepared to repackage what you don't use in airtight wrapping if you don't want the smell to permeate. Ditto for the stoppers from the ones you do use -- they too are remarkably potent.

It’s easy to use and the only thing working. It’s saving my expensive garden. I keep a supply on hand always. Gardening and pest control is a lifelong chore. This makes my work a little easier!

Absolute waste of money. Just throw garlic down the hole. It doesn’t work either. The chipmunks and the mice don’t even care.

Product smells great, but in terms of getting rid of gophers it didn't work. My gopher just dug new tunnels or moved them out of existing holes to avoid them.
