I have had several pizza stones in the past crack or break in the oven or on the grill when getting the heat really high in the 500 to 600 degree range. This one has held up great!!

I have been on the search for a good pizza stone for a while now and this one is pretty close to being ideal. It is large and rectangular, which fits perfectly in my Traeger grill and has the right size for our family (2 pizzas feeds all of us). The handles are really convenient to carry the whole stone and pizza out of the oven or grill and are removable. The stone is thick and retains heat well. It is a thicker type of stone so it takes a little longer to bring to the right temperature but also retains more heat as you open or close the door.The only downside is that the stone can slide off the metal frame with the handles. Having the option to remove the handles is great but a locking mechanism would be perfect and it would deserve a 5-star rating with this small improvement.

This is big enough for four personal pizzas, and the handles make it much more manageable than our smaller pizza stone. I would love to buy a second one, and hope they become available soon. I bake pizzas on parchment paper, so cleaning the stone has not been a problem.

Was looking for a stone that would fit in my oven and on my grill and this one works! It's heavy and the rack is really useless except for maybe serving, but I usually take my items off anyway.

After much research I wanted to get a rectangular pizza stone for my husband for Christmas as he's been making his own pizza for years. We had a round pizza stone from Pampered Chef that was lost in a move that we adored. So finally I find a pizza stone with handles that's big enough for his pizzas. We were so sad after just one use the stone shattered and the pizza totally stuck to the stone so it was completely inedible. There were no directions in the box but because we had a pizza stone before this we knew how to prep. Well that didn't help as it still stuck to stone and shattered. I took a picture and threw the stone away. I hope I will be able to get a refund. I don't think the buyers would want the shattered stone back with pizza stuck to it. I don't recommend this product.

This pizza stone gives you a nice large surface for making a rectangular pizza. We washed the stone with water only and dried before using the first time. There was no odor or foul taste emitted from the stone. The stainless steel rack makes it easy to place on the grill and remove and also saves the stone from char marks.

This is fun to make pizza and we even made garlic bread from Trader Joe's garlic and herb pizza dough! In any event, it is sturdy and works well. What I'm most happy about is the tray it comes with has handles. This stone gets really hot and seems like it would be unwieldy without handles. So many of these on Amazon do not have handles...even the one with hand inserts seem undesirable to me. That's my sense of it.
