Magnetic Wooden Fishing Game

My 2 (nearly 3) year old grandson loves this game. We use it every time he comes. It’s not something that keeps him occupied for hours, in fact it only keeps his attention for about 5 minutes, however it is a game that he comes back to time and time again throughout the day.One note of caution, don’t leave the fishing rods out when an adult is not there to supervise. We realised very quickly that because the fishing rod magnets stick together quite firmly the temptation is for tots to end up whizzing them round like a set of nunchucks until they come apart. Obviously this is potentially dangerous not only to the toddler but anyone and anything in the vicinity. I learnt this the hard way so I thought I should warn others to keep the rods out of reach when adults are not about.

Nicely made, brightly coloured and reasonably priced. Its a simple design but our three year old hasn't tired of playing with it. Its helped teach him to name the different types of sea creatures and their colours and when he 'catches' them he likes to match them to their picture printed at the edge. Perfect for our holiday abroad (and just fitted in his flight bag so used on plane as well as the local bars and hotel)

Haven't used it yet (Xmas present) my son used to play with one of these at speech therapy but he's abit too old for one now so I bought it for my toddler who loves his puzzles and his older brother can play with it with him. You get two fishing rods so 2 people can play and you can keep all the little fish in the circle when you put it away. Fast delivery good price would recommend.

It's a lovely well made game. Very colourful.
