The Doom Patrol Omnibus

I actually collected all the original dp comics in the 1980s..buying the back issues for hundreds of dollars. they were . you can get the silver age omni is for less than I paid for the comics. Few had heard of them. But they were brought back in the late 80s and they really were great. Then this writer took over and omg , it was so great , no more comics code. Now you can get these late bronze age stories to modern age for a good price . And morrison changed thongs up. Alot. Imo dp in any age was always different than anything else out there. This looks great too

I had one of the smaller paperbacks and just was blown away by the storytelling and art and just the total weirdness of the people and the places. Like a running acid trip for 1200 pages. The pages are thick and glossy. This is the most money I've ever spent on a book and I have a large collection of graphic novels. It's worth it.

Item came without any scratches or bumps. Although the package didn't have any airbags or foam, the book was moving inside the box from side to side.Story and art are excellent.

My first introduction to the doom patrol was the hbo max show so I wanted to read the Morrison run it was heavily based on and I was extremely happy. Don't expect it to be the exact same tho, this is more connected to the greater DC universe. Arrived in good condition and I couldn't be happier.

This is a huge book, collecting Morrison's entire run. Take a ride with Danny the sentient, teleporting street, Chief, Robot Man, Crazy Jane, Rebis, Joshua Clay, and Dorothy Spinner as they face mad philosophers, occult conspiracies, haunted paintings, bizarre occurrences, and god himself. Maybe. A fascinating ride in a high quality, hardcover collection of the oddest heroes of the DC Universe, and well worth the price of admission.

One of the best books I've ever read. I usually write reviews on books explaining why I didn't like them. The ones I think are great I want to keep to myself. They are just good. I could write a full blown essay on this but I'm going to keep it short. It's worth reading. It will blow your mind!

Ésta Doom Patrol es una de las obras que de no ser escritas por un visionario como Grant Morrison muy probablemente hubiese sido un fracaso rotundo, en esta obra Grant hace uso de movimientos artísticos, psicología, magia y MUCHA excentricidad, no es un libro para todos, pero si abres tu mente a la impertinencia, a lo rebuscado, realmente te gustará.

As always, these beastly beauties of binded bliss are as big and heavy as amazing. You get a lot of pages nicely done for your money, even more so if you get them for cheap in one of their frequent drops. Grant Morrison's entire run in a Bookzilla is what I call light reading. 🫡

Have many of the individual issues of the comic that make up this great omnibus written by Grant Morrison. Very weird story all round and amazingly written and tied together as a single entity and not just some rambling stories that may or may not interconnect with one another. Going to leave it sealed for the time being since I have the majority of the single issues that comprise the omnibus. If you are a fan of Grant Morrison, odd and way out there story telling and the modern Doom Patrol I would definitely recommend this. Was great and got it on sale as well, and it looks like it has dropped about another $2 from what I paid.

I'm a big fan of the tv series so decided to buy this omnibus by Grant Morrison. I've read about 100 pages so far but I have really enjoyed what I have read. The images are so bright and colourful. The Doom Patrol series is a bit weird but that's what I love about it. If you like the series, or like graphic novels in general, I would recommend this.
