The whole family loves this book , it shows very clearly what you need and how to make the little fairy items .We are a crafty family so don't need to buy any of the things needed but most people might only need to gather materials from nature and get a cheap glue gun. Hours and hours of creative fun together .

I bought this book for my daughter because buying miniature items for her fairy garden is getting out of hand. My daughter likes to craft and this book has made it pretty simple on how, where and when to gather items to build various items for one's fairy garden. Items range from tables, chairs to elaborate beds and houses. I would recommend this book to anyone who is already well-versed with fairy gardens and they want to add on and/or improve on their current fairy habitats.

I had this book on order for some time before it was published. I was looking for "fairy furniture" that I could use in altered book forms for inside my home rather than out in my garden, hoping for something that was a little more ethereal than doll-house or miniature furniture.I didn't expect the book to be quite as earthy as it is. Perhaps organic would be a better word as the structures are made from natural materials. No matter - it's a keeper!The book is beautifully done; well-written and illustrated with clear step-by-step instructions. The preface is interesting, the following sections, "Gathering and preserving natural materials", and "Making the basic elements" are extremely thorough and well-done. There are over 20 charming projects with suggestions for variations. The book includes an inspiration gallery and two valuable appendices on natural resources and materials. I like it. A lot!

A great book! Well made great photos and very inspiring. I can't wait to get out and start collecting nature!

This book is OK. A lot of hot glue and perhaps too much cardboard. Some good ideas for garden items.

This book speaks for itself! It is simply beautiful.

Beautiful book with easy instructions on how to build. Didn't think I would need instructions on how to build the fairy structures so also bought another book which just had lots of pictures to give me ideas which at the time I thought was great. But after receiving this book, I realized the step by step instructions are indeed helpful in getting started. It also has a reference section on good plants to use and types of materials to gather.
