Set of 3 EZSound Module - Push Button Activated

The sound modules worked very well. They held up well to several hundred plays over the past 4 days. The directions were clear on how to load your sound on to the module. We were pleased with the clarity and loudness each module made.

The media could not be loaded.  PROS - Records sound that is clear. Long enough for a short song. Cheap enough to buy three in a pack. Records quick and plays back immediately. You can re-record, if you don't like your first cut.CONS - Sounds a little tinny.Overall - Lots of fun making a recording. All you need is to plug it into the speaker output jack on the back of your computer and play the music while pushing the red recording button in the center on the small mother board near the batteries. You can record your song through your digital camera and save it as a movie (,mov) file, then as you play it on your computer you can record the sound on the Sound Module card.

Very sensitive to shorting out.

I am very impressed with this device. It was easy to program and worked exactly as described. I used it for a special effect in my daughter's science project. Notes: the file format that I used was mp3. Make sure that you look at the video on the invitebyvoice.com website before programming. The video is very clear and gives a couple of warnings (e.g. don't plug the programmer incorrectly into the sound module). Also, you might want to use some sound processing software (such as Nero Wave Editor which I used) to increase the volume of the sound file before programming so that it sounds as loud as possible. After programming, you will need to remove a small thin plastic tab from beneath a battery in the sound card. This is very easy. But it might be difficult to put this plastic tab back beneath the battery if you need to reprogram the card. So try your best to get it right the first time!

Buyer beware. I purchased two 3 packs, and one in each pack did not work. After playing around with it for a while, switching out the batteries and such, I was able to get one to work. Reading the other comments on this item, I see it is quite common to have at least one module in the pack that is not functioning properly.

Sound was full of static no matter what I did to improve connection.

The sound quality is good and the speaker is loud. It woudl be great to use in all sorts of projects and is a great price.Mine did not come with the pictured cord, rather a single short double male plug. It does the same job, but is way shorter.As advertised- but...One thing I find rather annoying is that you can't hear what you are recording while it is happening. As soon as you plug the jack your phone goes silent, and you cannot hear the sound as you record it which makes timing of things hard.There is no mic so you must record through the headphone jack.

Bought these for a project I was planning but ended up having to use one for a last minute birthday card for my wife. Easy to setup, clear instructions, good audio quality for what it is. Though bulky to try to use for a greeting card, it fulfilled the mission. My wife loved it as it played two minutes of music. Happy wife, happy life.
