We picked up this Moread DP to VGA Adapter because it’s a simple, plug-and-play solution that doesn't require any weird drivers or external power. The build quality is surprisingly solid for the price. It features gold-plated connectors that help with signal stability, and the locking latch on the DisplayPort end is a huge plus — it actually stays put and won't accidentally wiggle loose if you move your tower. We’ve been using it to run our secondary screen at 1080p (1920x1080 @ 60Hz), and the picture is crisp with zero flickering or "ghosting" artifacts. One thing to keep in mind is that this is uni-directional, meaning it only goes from a DisplayPort computer to a VGA monitor.
